One of the last products presented by Xiaomi is the Smart Band 8 Pro. At first glance, the Smart Band 8 Pro looks like a smartwatch but it's because it has quite a large display. Here's everything you need to know about the features.
The panel is 1.74 inches and supports 336 x 480 pixels with 600 nits peak brightness, a 60Hz refresh rate and uses Gorilla Glass protection. Like most smart bands, it also features a 5ATM water resistance rating which you can bring for a swim in a pool.

Xiaomi also marketed that it has over 100 watch faces and the band is interchangeable with various straps. You can change it to a silicone type, or other braided and leather types too but of course, they are sold separately. The default band colour is available in black and silver.
In terms of features, the Smart Band 8 Pro now has a new heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2) sensor, as well as a built-in GPS receiver to check where have you been. NFC connectivity is available as well and its battery can last up to 14 days of average usage, but may vary depending on usage).

It currently costs 399 Yuan (~RM254) or 449 Yuan (~RM287) for the leather strap model. There's no word if this new smart band will come to Malaysia or not, but we have a good feeling since Xiaomi smart bands are quite popular here. So until then, let's just wait and see.
