Previously, we mentioned the Redmi Pad SE release and how you can get it. But it does not end there, Xiaomi also released its latest lineup of smartwatches yesterday. That said, what should you know about the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro and Xiaomi Smart Band 8?
For your information, the Watch 2 Pro model comes with the latest Wear OS by Google. This feature allows you to access your Google apps anywhere and anytime from your wrists. On top of that, the watch runs on Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 to provide you with a smooth user experience.
In addition, the watch’s chassis sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED Display with 466x466 Display Resolution and 326PPI. It also comes in 2 colours - Silver case with Brown leather strap and Black Case with Black Fluororubber Strap. This watch sports a classic rotating crown with dual-side buttons to help you navigate seamlessly.
Moreover, the watch houses a 495mAh battery and lasts up to 65 hours. Plus, the 5-system dual-band GNSS feature helps track your runs accurately. Besides that, the Advanced Health and workout tracking feature helps you monitor your heart rate, SPO2 level, sleeping hygiene and so forth.
On the other hand, the Smart Band 8 runs Android 6.0 and houses a 190mAh battery. The watch sports a 1.62-inch AMOLED Touch Display, 192 x 490 pixels, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It can also last you up to 16 days on typical mode with a single charge.
This watch also supports over 150 Sports modes and is rated 5ATM for its water resistance. It also sports the reinforced GG3 Corning Glass with a metallic mid-frame. The watch is available in 2 colours - Gold and Graphite Black.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is priced at RM199 and will be available nationwide from 27 September 2023. However, you could get this watch at RM159 only if you purchased it during the promotional period (27 September - 22 October 2023).
Meanwhile, the price for Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro starts at RM1199. We have yet to confirm more details on its availability. However, it is safe to assume that more details could come soon.
