Last night, Xiaomi Malaysia made a surprise announcement of the Xiaomi 17T Series launch. Besides that, the company also introduced three new wearable products. The latest additions include the Xiaomi Watch S5 46mm, Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro and Xiaomi Buds 6, all designed to integrate more closely with the company’s broader ecosystem experience.
The Xiaomi Watch S5 46mm
The new Xiaomi Watch S5 46mm positions itself as Xiaomi’s premium smartwatch option, combining health tracking, sports features and a more refined design language. It features a large 46mm body weighing only 46g while maintaining a slim 10.99mm profile, using stainless steel materials throughout the frame, alongside an optional ceramic, forged carbon and premium bezel options, which allows for additional customisation.

A 1.48-inch AMOLED display powers the visual experience with up to 2,500 nits peak brightness, helping maintain visibility outdoors. Battery life remains one of the biggest selling points, with Xiaomi claiming up to 21 days of battery life under lighter usage conditions thanks to its 815mAh battery.
The Watch S5 introduces Passion Mode, a feature that detects cheering gestures and converts them into measurable workout metrics, including calories burned and heart rate tracking. With more than 150 sports modes available, the wearable also introduces improved health monitoring hardware, including an upgraded heart rate sensor system that Xiaomi claims can deliver accuracy levels up to 98.4%. Sleep monitoring also receives improvements with weekly reports, sleep HRV tracking and deeper long-term wellness insights.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro
For users looking for something lighter and more affordable, the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro features a larger 1.74-inch AMOLED display while maintaining a lightweight 21.6g body and a slim 9.7mm profile. Despite its smaller form factor, Xiaomi claims up to 21 days of battery life thanks to a low-power chipset and a 350mAh battery.

Health tracking improvements include upgraded heart rate monitoring, enhanced cycling metrics, new track mode support and more advanced sleep analysis features. One unique addition is Xiaomi’s collaboration with Clue, giving buyers a three-month trial of Clue Plus for deeper menstrual health insights and cycle tracking.
The Xiaomi Buds 6
As for the Xiaomi Buds 6, the earbuds feature an 11mm triple-magnet dynamic driver combined with a gold-plated diaphragm designed to improve audio clarity and treble response. Xiaomi says the Buds 6 benefit from tuning by the Harman Golden Ear Team and support Qualcomm aptX Lossless technology for higher-quality wireless audio.
The earbuds also introduce immersive spatial audio with head tracking alongside adaptive sound technology designed to maintain consistent sound quality across different ear shapes. Noise cancellation also receives attention through a three-microphone AI system capable of suppressing background noise while supporting active noise cancellation modes.

For the first time, Xiaomi earbuds now support both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub compatibility, allowing users to locate lost earbuds regardless of whether they use Android or Apple devices. Combined with Xiaomi HyperOS integration and multi-device switching, Xiaomi appears to be positioning Buds 6 as more ecosystem-friendly than previous generations.
