Xiaomi has always been known as a mobile electronics brand but today, it appears to that they just announced the Yeelight Smart LED light strip for a price of RMB 169 (MYR 102).
The Yeelight Smart LED strip was meant for home decoration like gaming desktop setup or any corner in your home. The Yeelight comes in 16 million colours. You will be able to control the lighting features with an app on your smartphone over Wi-Fi connection. The company claims that the strip has over 25000 hours of life span.
Although it is a very cool home electronics, but the price isn't really worth it as you could always get non-branded 5 meters RGB LED strip that comes a with remote control for less than MYR 50 here in Malaysia.
