Other than HUAWEI, Chinese companies like Xiaomi, vivo, OPPO have done a pretty good job maintaining their businesses. As we know, HUAWEI has had its rough moment this year and we can't deny that there were some damages done. Therefore, it has given a chance for the others to see that as an opportunity to become the top in the country. Having that said, it is reported that the other Chinese companies mentioned are building up momentum in their orders for the coming quarter.

According to DigiTimes, sources from Taiwan's printed circuit boards (PCB) supply chain have revealed that the Chinese smartphone manufacturers are placing orders more aggressively compared to the first half of 2020. The sources also believed that the trend will last until the first half of 2021. Currently, Xiaomi is leading with the highest volume of PCB shipments among other brands.

Earlier, Xiaomi has reported major growth of nearly 35 percent in revenue during the third quarter of this year, including in the overseas market. It is also estimated that the company's handset orders will exceed 100 million units during the second half of 2020 to the first quarter of 2021. Contradictorily, HUAWEI might not be as lucky as it is expected to have its market share drop to a third of its current standing in 2021. However, this is just a prediction based on the current situation and it does not reflect the actual result. Therefore, let's wait to find out where will the competition go with more updates coming in the future.
