If you have a child in your life, and you want some semblance of security by monitoring him/her, Xiaomi just announced the cutest wearable yet – the Mi Bunny, a GPS-enabled wearable that you can strap onto your kid’s wrist and monitor them wherever they go, for only 299 Yuan (~RM180).

It supports both GPS and GLONASS standards, and comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built it. It has an SOS button that the kid can press and instantly alert the parents or guardians where they are, as well as a 7-second audio clip that will be sent straight to their smartphones. In China, it comes with a pre-paid SIM installed in the device so it can make quick calls – perhaps something similar can be done here?

Power is important to keep track the whereabouts of the kid, and the 300mAh battery inside will power the Mi Bunny for up to 6 days under standby according to Xiaomi. It even tells the time, with the built-in display on the front of the plastic housing.
