At this point, Xiaomi have come up with so many hardware products that nothing really surprised us anymore. In their latest project, it seems that the company have started crowdfunding for a new Mijia handheld ironing machine. The cost? 99 Yuan only (~RM60).
To note, this is actually Xiaomi's first ironing machine together with Mijia. From the design perspective, it looks really sleek with a minimalist style and you won't even guess it's an ironing tool at first glance (I thought it looked more like a microphone lol). Anyway, you can see that the back design is where the 160ml water tank is which can be detached to add some water. As for the head, it features an aluminium die-casting panel with thermal conductivity, which can go up to 120°C high-temperature steam.
According to Xiaomi, it can achieve 99.9% sterilization and dustmite removal around a minute, as well as using just 30 seconds to warm up thanks to the micro-supercharging technology to release 120kPa of 120 ? steam. To avoid high-temperature heat damage, this is where the front head aluminium die-casting panel comes in to vaporize the high-temperature steam by adopting 130? on it.
