A 200MP primary camera sounds over the top but it was inevitable. Besides Motorola, Xiaomi could also be working on a 200MP phone. This leak came from Digital Chat Station, known for posting leaks on various China-branded phones.
While he didn't specifically spell out the name, his post was super cryptic in only revealing "120hz+sm8475+200mp+5000mah±~". This post directly hinted at the Redmi K50S Pro or it could be just the Xiaomi 12T Pro for the global market. The Xiaomi T series is usually an extended version of the existing product such as the Xiaomi 11T series.
Whatever phone it is, it seems that he knows that the features could include a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 5000mAh battery and the aforementioned 200MP camera. Sources speculate that the device could use either the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 or ISOCELL HP3 since both support 200MP resolution. The difference between both sensors is the optical format and pixel size of 1/1.22” and 0.64µm and 1/1.4” and 0.56µm.
Given that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is likely to appear, Xiaomi could very well use the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 which is compatible.
