Remember about the Xiaomi Global Launch for this month? Well, turns out that the event will be held in Spain on 24 July and that's just less than two weeks away. While they have not announced what phone would it be, speculations are betting at the Mi A2 to make its debut, as well as a lesser Mi A2 lite to appear alongside.

We already have a good idea of what the Mi A2 will feature, so we are going to talk about the Mi A2 Lite specifications. For starters, the lite version's exterior design is carrying a 5.84-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, there's a notch on top as well but do take it with a grain of salt since there was no mention that the Mi A2 would have it. Then for the back, it's where the dual camera and fingerprint sensor are located. Furthermore, it's using a microUSB port as opposed to the USB Type-C.

Then going into the technical aspects, the Mi A2 Lite is apparently going for the Snapdragon 625 chipset, powered by 4GB of RAM and has 64GB storage inside. Be rest assured that it's running on pure stock Android 8.1 Oreo, the battery is actually quite large too. Finally, rumours have it that the price tag could start from $285 (~RM1151).

So what do you think? Should Xiaomi actually release two Mi A2 variants? And are you looking forward to it? Stay tuned for more Xiaomi news at TechNave.com.
