Xiaomi could implement 5 pop-up cameras into its first foldable smartphone

It seems like Xiaomi is trying to catch up with the footsteps by making the first foldable smartphone of its own brand. There is a rumour that the China smartphone manufacturer is planning to come up with a foldable smartphone that houses five camera sensors. The patent of the device was published on 8 November and people have already started getting their hopes up.

The device is said to have 5 pop-up cameras that can also double as back and selfie cameras depending on how you use the device. When the phone is being folded, you can turn the phone around and the display screen will be on both sides.

It is unclear that if Xiaomi is going to release a device to join the foldable smartphone market. However, it is interesting to see another foldable product as it is slowly becoming a norm that every brand is trying to implement into their new products. 

The only foldable device that is currently being sold in the market is the Samsung Galaxy Fold. With all the rumours surfaced on the internet, it looks like Samsung is going to have serious competitors in this niche smartphone market.
