Not long ago, a rumour arrived by claiming that the Xiaomi 12 series will bring a new variant called Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced Edition. Today, a new one has come, saying that the company will also introduce a new compact version of the upcoming flagship dubbed Xiaomi 12X.
According to the tech specs dug up by MIUI tipster Kacper Skrzypek from an IMEI certification listing, the Xiaomi 12X will feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. For those who don't want a smartphone that goes above the 6.5-inch mark, this might be the one for you.
However, the word 'compact' also means that the device will be slightly less performant. It is said the device will get powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC rather than the new Snapdragon 898. On the rear, it could come equipped with a 50MP primary camera. Of course, it should also have a cheaper price tag, which is still not bad.
