It looks like Xiaomi is going to great lengths to make its upcoming flagships mobile photography powerhouses. We already have some news about the Xiaomi 12 series, which is expected to have a model with 3x 50MP cameras. But there's apparently a more powerful one with a 200MP camera.

According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is working on a flagship that will feature a dual-camera setup of 200MP and 50MP camera. He didn't specify which model would feature this camera setup, but there are a few options that we can think of. One possibility would be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which would mean that the model with a 50MP+50MP+50MP camera would be the Xiaomi 12 Pro. It could also be another model like the Xiaomi 12T Pro or Xiaomi CC11 Pro.

The source also mentioned that the mid-range and high-end Xiaomi phones will continue to use the 108MP and 64MP camera. If that's the case, it would mean that Xiaomi will reserve the 200MP camera sensor for its top-of-the-line models. On the flip side, we could see more mid-range Xiaomi phones sport a 108MP camera.

Digital Chat Station has a track record when it comes to rumours about Chinese smartphones. In other words, we can probably conclude that a phone with a dual-camera (200MP+50MP) setup is true. But until we get more updates on that, stay tuned to TechNave.com for more reveals on other mobile gadgets.
