Xiaomi crowdfunds an e-bike that you can turn on with an app

Molinks electric motorcycle is a new product that is crowdfunded on Xiaomi’s YouPin platform. The e-bike is jointly manufactured by Thunder electric car and QianJiang Motorcycle (a well-known China motorcycle manufacturer).

The electric motorcycle hits the platform starting with the price of 5499 yuan (RM3,249.06). It has already received a lot of interest as e-bikes are among the most popular products on the crowdfunding platform.

The electric motorcycle is powered by two 60V/20AH high-performance lithium batteries. The batteries are switchable with other backup batteries in 10 seconds as claimed by the official website. They also said the motorcycle can travel up to 120 kilometers when cruising at a speed of 35km/h with the batteries. 

Other than that, Molinks electric motorcycle is integrated with a mobile app to manage battery life, lock the motorcycle and even customize the LED lighting. The colour variants of the motorcycle are White, Grey, Green, Black, and Red. It will begin to ship in China on 19 December.
