We’ve been reporting on the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series leaks for the past few weeks from the design patents to the cameras. Today, we got some new renderings of the phone based on the recent Xiaomi design patent from Letsgodigital.

According to the render leak, the Xiaomi 12 series is expected to come with an under-screen camera design with the new unique center camera housing design on the rear. A huge round main camera and a square periscope telephoto camera on the bottom. Redmi’s product director, Wang Teng reposted these photos on his Weibo and commented “Can’t stand it, it’s too ugly”. It certainly means that something is off on these pictures compared to real live Xiaomi 12.
