Xiaomi expands Smart Home Appliances in Malaysia - Air cond to robot vacuums, starting promo price at RM999

Xiaomi is continuing its push beyond smartphones with the launch of a new Smart Tech Appliances lineup for Malaysia, introducing new air conditioners, refrigerators, laundry solutions and robot vacuums as part of its broader smart ecosystem strategy.

The Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir

The new Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir is available in both 1.0HP and 1.5HP variants. Xiaomi says the system uses specially designed airflow vanes to create softer and less direct cooling compared to traditional air conditioners.

Three dedicated airflow modes are designed around different situations. Halo Flow focuses on room-wide circulation, Canopy Flow directs cooling from above for wider coverage, while Carpet Flow pushes warm air upward from floor level. Xiaomi also claims rapid cooling performance with 30-second cooling and 60-second heating capabilities alongside AI-driven energy optimisation designed to reduce energy usage.

The Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 715

The new Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 715L is Xiaomi’s answer for larger households and users who prefer bulk grocery shopping. The refrigerator offers 635 litres of usable storage capacity split across refrigeration and freezer compartments, while featuring multiple storage layers and compartments designed for better organisation.

Xiaomi says dual inverter technology improves cooling efficiency while Ag+ freshness technology helps reduce odours and bacteria growth. The refrigerator also supports app controls and voice assistant integration, allowing users to adjust temperature settings remotely.

The Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 9kg

The new Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 9kg combines washing and drying capabilities into a single machine while introducing hygiene-focused cleaning modes. Xiaomi claims the machine can remove bacteria and mites through steam and high-temperature washing functions while offering more than 30 different wash programmes.

A dedicated quick wash mode reduces cleaning time to 15 minutes for lighter laundry loads. For users who do not require drying functionality, Xiaomi is also launching a standalone washer variant with similar features.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Series

Perhaps the most aggressive category expansion comes from Xiaomi’s new robot vacuum lineup. The standard Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 introduces 10,000Pa suction power, dual rotary mops and automated cleaning stations designed to reduce manual maintenance.

The higher-end Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro goes even further with stronger 15,000Pa suction, robotic extension arms for corner cleaning and more advanced obstacle detection systems. Both models support laser mapping, carpet detection, self-cleaning stations and app-based remote management.
