Just last evening yesterday, Lazada Malaysia leaked an alleged price tag of the Xiaomi Mi 9T for RM1299 but of course, the page has since then been removed. Coming soon on this Thursday (20 June 2019), Xiaomi is heavily promoting the latest smartphone with three new short advertisements.
Granted, the advertisements are a smart way of addressing the notch as a distraction in three different scenarios at a saloon, dentistry room and the backstage. Ironically, Xiaomi themselves also have some phone models with the notch on the top as well so...what gives? Well, it makes sense from a marketing point of view, though. The Mi 9T is a mid-range tier smartphone packing a Snapdragon 730 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage, a rear triple 48MP + 13MP + 8MP camera configuration, a 20MP pop-up front camera on its 6.36-inch fullscreen display, 4000mAh battery and more.
