Untitled-2.jpgThe Redmi K30 series has been in many leaks and reports on it and last week, we found out that the Redmi K30i 5G has been launched quietly in the market and is now available for sale in China. Xiaomi has skipped the usual ground-breaking launching event for this new smartphone but moved all the attention onto the Redmi 10X series instead.

The Redmi K30i 5G comes with the same 6.67-inch FHD+ cutting-edge LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate as the Redmi K30 5G. Under the hood, it equips with the Snapdragon 765G chipset coupled with a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that supports 5G SA and NSA Dual Mode. It also supports dual-frequency GPS, Multi-Function NFC, IR Blaster, 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a fingerprint scanner on the sides that double as a power button.

In terms of the cameras, it sports a 48MP main camera, 120-degree super wide-angle lens, 2cm macro lens, and depth-of-field lens. It has a 4,500mAh battery that charges with 30W fast-charging and also a Hi-Res audio certification and P2i life splash-proof coating. Basically, there’s not much difference between the Redmi K30 5G and the Redmi K30i. As for the price, it is selling at the price of RMB 1,799 (~RM1094) which is cheaper than the Redmi K30 5G.
