Today, Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 4 in India, even though it was seen in China last year, this device sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 instead of the previous MediaTek hexa-core Helio X20 processor instead. Below are the official tech-specs:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with 14nm FinFET technology (Octa-core 2.0GHz)
- 2GB / 3GB / 4GB RAM
- 32GB / 64GB storage (expandable memory available up to 128GB via microSD card)
- 5.5-inch Full HD + 2.5D display
- 13MP CMOS camera with PDAF/ 5MP front camera
- Features dual SIM (Nano- and Micro-SIM), Rear fingerprint sensor, IR blaster
- Supports LTE and VoLTE connectivity
- MIUI 8 beta based on Android N will be available soon
- 4100 mAh battery
With the Snapdragon 625 being the first chipset in its class to use 14nm FinFET technology, this makes the Redmi Note 4's 4100 mAh battery lasts on average 25% longer than Redmi Note 3.
The first sale for Redmi Note 4 is at 12pm on January 23 exclusively on Mi.com and Flipkart with no pre-registrations, starting at INR 9,999 (2GB RAM + 32GB Flash, around RM653), INR 10,999 (3GB RAM + 32GB Flash, around RM718) and INR 12,999 (4GB RAM + 64GB Flash, around RM848).
