It's been a few months since we've heard of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip. But it looks like Xiaomi has been working on a new manufacturing method and is now ready to launch new devices sometime in July 2024. More details below.

Based on info from Xiaomi's Weibo, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip will launch this month. However, there are no teasers about the new phones yet, so the launch is likely in late July. Having said that, a previous leak reveals that the Mix Fold 4 has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. It's also supposed to have a 5000mAh battery (with 100W fast charging), a 50MP main camera, a new periscope camera, and supports two-way satellite communication.

Besides that, the announcement post also mentioned a new fully digital smart factory to manufacture the devices. Xiaomi claims that this smart factory has "100% automation of key processes" and can perceive, make decisions, and execute tasks on its own. This is thanks to Xiaomi's "Pengpai AI manufacturing platform", which can help the smart factory self-evolve.

Sounds very outlandish, but we can assume there's still a human element in the manufacturing process. At the very least, there's probably someone (or several people) to ensure nothing goes wrong. Having said that, what do you think of this smart factory? Please share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
