A week after Samsung showcased its foldable devices at Galaxy Unpacked, Xiaomi will be the next player to unveil the all-new Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip. The event is scheduled to go live on 19 July 2024, at 7 PM.
There are a few posts about the new Mix Flip on Xiaomi's Weibo account. It's confirmed that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a surprisingly large 4780mAh battery pack (for a flip phone) and features Leica Optics Summilux lenses. Moreover, the exterior display is fully all over half of the back cover, even going over the dual rear cameras.
According to Xiaomi, the exterior display measures 4.01 inches and has 1.5k resolution and 1600nits peak brightness. Users can set an animated wallpaper as well, and as for other tech specs, other posts also reveal LPDDR5X RAM + UFS 4.0 memory configuration and even a heat dissipation vapour chamber.
