Xiaomi has just revealed their 100W fast charging for smartphones called Super Charge Turbo. In a Weibo post, President and co-founder of Xiaomi stated that the technology can charge a smartphone from 0-100% in just 17 minutes.
In a side by side comparison with OPPO’s SuperVOOC charging, by the time Xiaomi’s device had finished charging to 100%, OPPO’s SuperVOOC only managed to charge up to 65%. Other than that, no other information about the technology had been shared.
Earlier today, Xiaomi had also teased the arrival of a brand new Mi Mix smartphone. It showed a photo of the previous Mi Mix line and a white silhouette of the upcoming device. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 was not mentioned in the Weibo post but the photo does seem to indicate so as Mi Mix devices are usually teased at the end of the first quarter every year. It is speculated that the Mi Mix 4 may have a larger screen than its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and a periscope lens.
As both the Super Charge Tubo and the tease of the upcoming Mi Mix device had been introduced on the same day, could it be that the upcoming phone may feature the 100W Super Charge Turbo? Follow TechNave.com for the latest news and updates on Xiaomi!
