Update - Xiaomi finally announced the 80W wireless charging device!
Just a few hours ago, Xiaomi sent out a teaser on their upcoming wireless charging technology. Although we have not seen any official news about it yet, online leakster @UniverseIce apparently got his hands on the company's latest 80W wireless charging poster and posted it on his Twitter account.
According to the poster, the Xiaomi poster claimed that the 80W wireless charging technology can charge up a 4000mAh battery up to 50% in just 8 minutes. That's mightily impressive, but what's even better than that is the "fact" that the battery pack can be fully charged in just 19 minutes. Design-wise, the new wireless charging device is a simple stand with a wooden surface at the bottom. A YouTube user, WongHing Tse has also uploaded the wireless charging demo which you can watch below.

Prior to this unofficial announcement, the teaser by Xiaomi about their journey of introducing a 7.5W wireless charging on the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S in 2018. With that, they slowly introduce multiple wireless charging devices - 10W, 20W, 30W, 40W, 50W and now 80W. We will be updating this page again when the official announcement by Xiaomi is released.
