The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is a smash hit thanks to the rather simple slider mechanic for a true fullscreen experience. It's still one of our favourite phones this year and it's a no brainer than Xiaomi will be working on the fourth edition. Recently, Xiaomi has submitted a new patent to the State Intellectual Property Office and it looks like the Mi MIX 4 in the making.
According to the image, the phone has the same sliding mechanism as the Mi MIX 3 but there is a new camera arsenal design - a quad rear camera setup in a circular module, and another that has no sliding mechanism with a rather slim notch along with a triple rear camera. Both devices have a dual front camera as well.
Besides that, the 3.5mm headphone jack is nowhere to be seen and personally, the first patent image is pretty awesome. If Xiaomi has no trouble on its time table, the Mi MIX 4 should be ready at the end of the fourth quarter and could feature much cool technological stuff, such as a much faster-charging speed up to 100W and a wider-area in-display fingerprint sensor. But only time will tell.
