Last week, we reported that Xiaomi plans to launch some gaming monitors and they finally revealed their first one. According to sources, this new Xiaomi gaming monitor is under a crowdfunding price for 1899 Yuan (~RM1144) and will be available on the Xiaomi Mall (in China) at 10AM, 17 June. The recommended retail price is 2199 Yuan (~RM1325).
With the price going over RM1000, you can expect this gaming monitor to feature some good features. The IPS screen panel measures 27-inches with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, supporting up to 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms IMBC fast response. Besides that, there it also supports 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut, DisplayHDR 400, low Blue Light (certified), and finally, an Adaptive-Sync synchronization technology.

Ergonomic support is also available, as you can even mount the gaming monitor on a wall with a rotating bracket via a magnetic back cover. For the ports, you can expect to see a HDMI port, as well as a USB 3.0, DP and even a 3.5mm headphone jack port. On the website, it comes with a 3-year warranty and after-sales engineer on-site service.
Will Xiaomi Malaysia import this bad boy into Malaysia? Time will tell, but we think they totally should as there is a growing demand for gaming monitors ever since the pandemic started, particularly those who are still working from home upgrading their workstation.
