Have you ever been on an outing where you wanted to charge your devices, only to find that even your power bank is dead? Well, Xiaomi happens to have a new solution for you. The company just announced the YEUX power bank that can charge via solar power.

Solar panels have been a thing for years, but seeing it in a power bank is quite the novelty. The Xiaomi YEUX solar mobile power bank uses single-crystal silicon solar panels, promising high-sensitivity and power conversion rate. Supposedly, it will even charge on rainy days, which is impressive if true.

In terms of specs, this power bank has a rated capacity of 6400mAh. It has plenty of ports you can use to charge your device, including two USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port, and even a micro-USB port. Also, it should be noted that you can still charge this power bank using electricity, meaning it still has a fall back if the weather is really bad.

Considering the asking price of 349 yuan (~RM212), this power bank is being marketed towards those with an active outdoor lifestyle. You could stick it on a backpack while you go on a hiking trip and it'll charge as you go, for example. With that said, would you be interested in getting this?
