It wasn't that long ago when there was a leak about a new mid-range Sony Xperia device. Today, Sony officially revealed the Xperia 10 VII with the full tech spec and feature details on its website. Here's everything you need to know.
What’s New: Design & Display
The Xperia 10 VII will come with a 6.1-inch OLED display offering Full HD+ resolution (around 1080 × 2,340 pixels) and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, slightly wider but a bit shorter than its predecessor. The refresh rate has been increased to 120Hz, and the Xperia 10 series’ classic vertical camera layout has been changed to a horizontal pill-shaped camera module.
Hardware and Performance Upgrades
At the core, the Xperia 10 VII is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, while memory and storage configurations are 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, along with support for microSD cards up to 2TB. Powering it all is a 5000mAh battery.
The camera system features a 50MP primary sensor at the rear, paired with a 13MP secondary shooter for ultra-wide shots. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera is present, and it is still not a cutout punch hole like many phones nowadays. The Xperia 10 VII will measure around 153 × 72 × 8.3 mm, with a weight of 169 grams.
