With Razer Phone 2 officially entering into the Malaysia market, only a selected few partners will be selling the gaming flagship which includes TMT, All IT, PC Image, Gamers Hideout and others. Of course, our local telcos aren't missing out this opportunity as well so here is the breakdown for what Maxis and U Mobile are offering with their postpaid plans.
Maxis postpaid plans
Starting with Maxis, the Razer Phone 2 will be available from 16 January 2019 onwards. At a recommended retail price of RM3449, customers can go for the MaxisONE 188 for as low of RM101 per month or RM2029, and there's the Maxis Zerolution plans as well, where customers can get the phone with zero upfront payment, zero credit card and zero interest rate. Besides that, Maxis has also created a page for customers to purchase other notable gaming smartphones under Zerolution, this includes the ROG Phone from RM111 per month, the Pocophone F1 from RM25 per month, and the Huawei Mate 20 X from RM97 per month.
U Mobile postpaid plans
Moving onto U Mobile, the orange telco is offering two postpaid plans which are the UNLIMITED HERO P139 and P99. This is a fairly straightforward plan, as the Razer Phone 2 will be subsidised for RM2299 and RM2799 respectively, where customers can get to enjoy unlimited data with no speed cap, unlimited calls to any networks and many more. Should the customers should have an instalment plan, they can pay RM120 and RM129 respectively for a contract of two years. More information about the plans can be found right over here.
Moreover, both Maxis and U Mobile are adding freebies for the early birds. Maxis customers who sign up online on the company's website will receive a complimentary Razer SWAG pack, which consist of a Razer Hammerhead Bluetooth headset, Razer Chroma mug, Team Razer Coaster and a Team Razer t-shirt. U Mobile is giving away the same SWAG pack but with some extra 100 Razer Gold (worth RM 100) for the first 500 U Mobile customers from any U Mobile store, and an extra Team Razer lanyard + 100 Razer Gold for the first 50 customers in Berjaya Times Square.
