Looks like filing taxes or clearing up payments could be a lot easier. Recently, you can now access the MYINVOIS portal. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, the MYINVOIS portal serves as proof of the government’s commitment to ensuring the smooth running of e-invoices. This is important for the taxpayers who will be involved in Phase 1 from 1 August 2024 onwards. Thanks to this portal, you can submit the e-invoices to the IRB via 2 methods - Application Programming Interface (API) and the MYINVOIS portal.

In addition, the guidelines for the e-invoices have been updated on the IRB portal. This will cover near-real-time transaction verification and storage such as business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), and business-to-government (B2G) transaction. Hopefully, everything will proceed smoothly. After all, Malaysia deserves healthy and effective e-transactions.
