The Grab app has a few functions and the latest one was released silently. There's a new Family Account hidden in your account profile and you can add your family members in there.
Opening a new Family Account on your Grab app is free. It's located just below your name on your account profile page so just tap on it. If you are the primary user on the Family Account, you can track your family's Grab rides and chat with the driver, monitor all transactions within there and also settle all ride payments.
The payment methods will also ask you to choose your current options. As seen in the screenshots, it can be your GrabPay Wallet, Mastercard or other cards that you want to add. It seems that the GXBank method is not available even if it's already linked as the main payment method on your Grab app.
After setting up your Family Account, you can start inviting your family members with a quick invite link or add manually within the Grab app. That's pretty much it and really a convenient way to have your family on board. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
