According to 9to5Mac, Sony has now officially introduced Apple Pay support for PS5 users in Malaysia. This means users can purchase games, DLC, and other digital content on the PlayStation Store using Apple Pay. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, this move makes the shopping experience in the PlayStation ecosystem more modern, especially for those who are already familiar with Apple Pay in daily life. The Apple Pay feature is very easy to use. If you've used Apple Pay in a physical store or an app, the process is not much different. On PS5, the payment process will involve scanning a QR code.

Additionally, after payment is complete, your game will be downloaded as usual, and no additional steps are required. Currently, Apple Pay support is only available for PS5 users. So if you're still using a PS4, this feature won't be available yet. Plus, you need to ensure Apple Pay on your iPhone is enabled and linked to a valid debit or credit card.

Apart from that, users in Malaysia can also enjoy this function as long as they use a PlayStation Network (PSN) account registered in the Malaysian region. We have yet to confirm other details on the news. So, we should wait for more confirmation from Sony.
