Meta today announced a new feature that allows you to arrange your photo grids on Instagram. So, what should you know about it?
You can move the image to your preferred grid
For your information, this is a big change because until now, the grid of images was arranged chronologically, in which they were uploaded. To use this feature, press and hold on an image in the grid for a few seconds.
Additionally, the “Edit grid” option will appear with a 9-square grid icon. Although the feature was announced by Meta this morning, I have not yet been able to use it on the Android, iOS and web apps.
In addition to the customisable grid of photos, Instagram is also rolling out a Trial Reels feature to all users. This feature is only being tested by influencers who may have previously wanted to test the reels content format with their followers.
For better privacy measures
Through this test, other new content can be tried out to see how it responds. Finally, a feature to upload content to Instagram but not show up on the timeline is also being teste.d
This is available to those who want to upload content to their account, but not for everyone to see. Only followers who go to the profile will notice that new content has been uploaded.
