Last month, Apple released iOS 14.2 and announced there are some new features and upgrades. There's one more thing that the company didn't mention, which is that FaceTime call is now supporting 1080p HD via Wi-FI or 5G connectivity.
The iPhone models that get to enjoy this upgrade via Wi-Fi are the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone SE (2020), iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

On top of that, the iPhone 12 series are the only devices that can support FaceTime HD over 5G or Wi-Fi. According to sources, the difference in quality between 1080p (via Wi-Fi) over 720p (via 4G) is quite obvious on the older models.
So what are you waiting for? Let's go and FaceTime call your friends and family to try it out. For more tech news, be sure to stay tuned on TechNave.com.
