You can now leave comments on IG stories

Instagram introduced Stories feature before, where you can share photos and videos that disappear after 24 hours of being shared. Since the introduction, any message left under Stories is sent as a DM to your Instagram account. This changed when Instagram started introducing the comment feature on Instagram Stories.

For your information, your friends can now leave comments on every Story published on Instagram. This will at the same time avoid your message box being full of those comments, and the various comments of friends and family members more organized.

This new feature is being rolled out in stages and is expected to be widely offered shortly We have yet to confirm any details. So, we should wait for more confirmation from Meta.
