Petronas’ e-payment solution Setel can now let you pay for fuel by redeeming your Mesra Points via the Setel app. Mesra Points are generally points that you get when you buy fuel or items from Petronas stations, so it basically means you get Petronas fuel for free.
To redeem Mesra points you’ll need to link your Mesra card and activate it on the Setel app, at RM1 worth of fuel for every 100 points. Petronas Mesra customers generally receive 3 points for every litre of fuel and you can download the Setel app for free on iOS or Android for use at 277 Petronas stations in Malaysia.
