Just a grim reminder, the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 has already been delayed until 23 July 2021 thanks to the outbreak. Despite that, you might still be able to enjoy it to some degree which is playing the mobile game app version, Sonic At The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. At the moment, it's only available on the Google Play Store.

While the game is free to play, there is bound to be in-game item purchases such as purchasing certain events. You and your friends still can play for free up to level 9 only or through the first 11 events, so that's something. But it won't be just a one-time purchase either, as each locked event has its own cost and this period, the events are 50% off.

We played some rounds and we have to say it's quite fun especially playing with your friends online to see who can top the charts. All in all, it's a pretty casual game to pass time especially in this Conditional Movement Control Order. The game is also available to download for free on the Nintendo Switch eShop but likewise, players will have to purchase for unlocking certain events.
