Today, Sony announced the launch of PlayStation Portal for the Malaysian market, where it will be sold at a price of RM999 for the local market. The PlayStation Portal will be officially launched on October 9, 2024, but those interested can pre-order from August 5, 2024.
PlayStation Portal is one of the devices that offers remote play support or "Remote Play" for the PlayStation 5 console. It comes with an 8-inch LCD screen with 1080p capability and can stream games directly from the PlayStation 5. With this device, users can play PlayStation 5 games without having to sit in front of the television and play in different rooms in the house. PlayStation Portal connects to PlayStation 5 via WiFi, with at least 5Mbps to use.
