Those days of panicking to register as a voter at the post office is now over as future voters can now register online. The SPR has just launched a brand new portal named MySPR to make it easier for voters to register. Existing voters can also benefit from this portal as it allows them to change their addresses as well.

It only takes 3 easy steps to register with MySPR. First, head on over to the registration page and fill up the information needed. Then, upload a photo of your IC and a selfie of yourself with your IC. After that, you should receive an activation email and a TAC code to activate your account. The last step is to fill up Form A which is the voter registration form with the voter’s information, a witness’s information and then send it in with a TAC code. If you didn’t know, a TAC code is a code sent via SMS to your phones so you do need a valid telephone number to register.
