At a time when the world faces disasters like the current coronavirus pandemic, fake news is often worse than no news. That's why it's great to see Google doing something about it. In the latest update, Google has made it so that Google Discover on the mobile will now let you report content that you find problematic.

According to 9to5Google, the new update provides you with a series of new functions. You can now hide selected stories, block content certain websites, and also filter out news about specific topics. All three options are useful in helping you filter the content you see on the Google app. In addition, you can also report stories with content that are misleading, hateful, or abusive.

Do note that reporting the content doesn't necessarily mean that the site or story in question is deleted. The feature is mostly there for users to adjust the content that they get to see through the Google mobile app. Moreover, if you've been using Google search for many years, you're unlikely to see any news that you normally consider a problem since Google knows what kind of news you prefer.
