You can now use the new EV Charging feature on your Setel app

Today, Setel has introduced a new EV (electric vehicle) Charging feature for EV users. From now on, EV users can locate their preferred charging station as well as the type of charger, and activate the charger via the Setel Wallet app.

Partnerin with JomCharge as Setel's first provider, the company has plans to plant more providers in the near future including Energise by Petronas. At the moment, there are five pilot locations available - Lotus’s Tesco Kepong, EV Connection Workshop in Petaling Jaya, Carsome PJ Automall, Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort in Penang and ACO Group’s headquarters in Johor Bahru.

To start using the EV Charging feature, you can start by discovering the EV charging stations via the Search icon from the Setel app home menu page. Once you have arrived, select Start Charging and Activate Charger with the correct charger for your EV. You can check your charging status and rates while waiting, then stop it when it's enough. 

Setel will add more locations progressively across the nation in due time. The Setel app is free to download on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, as well as the Huawei AppGallery store.
