If you are a long-time user of smartphones, you might notice the phone comes with a built-in web browser. The same can be said about Samsung smartphones too. Today, the Samsung Internet web browser is made available on the Microsoft Store. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, this is the PC version of the web browser. Previously, this browser was only available on the mobile version. As you can expect, this web browser is not that much different compared to others. Like other browsers, it also sports a dark mode and an incognito mode.
In addition, the web browser features a built-in ad blocker. This worked to a certain extent though. Testing for this feature has been limited so far. If you own a Samsung phone, you can carry over your bookmarks and browsing history from the mobile version. However, you can also do this with an extension for both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
Now, can this new browser rival the existing Chrome and Firefox? Maybe, it is still early days after all. Even if things didn’t work out, it’s still pretty cool to see a new browser in this era.
