It seems that the One UI 3.0 open beta, which is available in selected countries introduces several new features that could improve the user experience of Samsung Galaxy smartphone owners when the update is rolled out to the public. One of the features worth taking note of is the Double Tap to Sleep function, which lets the user double tap on an empty portion of the home screen or lock screen in order to turn off the display.

If you’re keen on turning on the aforementioned feature, make sure your Samsung Galaxy smartphone has the One UI 3.0 installed. Then, head over to the settings, tap on Advanced features, then Motions and gestures, then turn on Double tap to sleep.
