You could play games on Youtube soon - Here's why it could happen

Remember the Google Stadia? No? That’s okay, not everyone knows about it too. Simply said, Google Stadia allows you to stream video games to players from the company's numerous data centres at up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. A recent update suggests the company might bring it back soon.

Thanks to a YouTube community post, the company confirmed that it was testing a so-called “Playables” feature on YouTube. The post also writes “Playables are games that can be played directly on YouTube on both desktop and mobile devices”. As of now, this feature is exclusive to a few users.

Moreover, Google added that there will be a Playables section on your home feed. Regardless, you can still view your saved game progress and check out your game history via your YouTube history. We have yet to confirm other details on this feature. However, you could expect simple, mobile-style games rather than console-level games.
