You could use your iPhone as a controller to play Netflix Games on your TV in the future

In case you didn't know - yes, Netflix Games is a thing for mobile users who are subscribed to Netflix. That said, the company may be working on something to allow you to play Netflix Games on your TV with your iPhone as a controller, according to Bloomberg.

If you see the code in the Twitter post shared by Steve Moser, it reads "A game on your TV needs a controller to play. Do you want to use this phone as a game controller?". This is definitely an intuitive way to let Netflix users play games on the big screen. This isn't the first time that a company tried doing so, as Google did have it with its defunct Stadia platform a couple of years ago.

For those who are unaware, Netflix Games has been around since 2021 and already released 55 mobile games to date. Some are original mobile games based on Netflix shows such as Stranger Things, and others are ports from PC or console games with the likes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, Oxenfree, and more.

From the looks of it, it seems that there are no plans for Android users about this but maybe just not yet. After all, Netflix wouldn't want more people to miss out on this potential feature but what do you think? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
