Based on a report by wabetainfo.com, it seems that Facebook could be working on a new WhatsApp feature where the user will be required to scan their fingerprint in order to log in to WhatsApp Web. With that said, this means that WhatsApp web would not only be more secure, but it will also notify the user if an unauthorized login were to occur.

While not much is known in regards to when Malaysia will be releasing the update, it is still under development and it will not be available for download via the Google Play store. With that said, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Facebook has yet to provide an official statement on the leaked info.
