“You shouldn’t go to Copilot for advice, it’s only meant for entertainment” - Microsoft

According to Copilot’s official terms of use, updated last October, Microsoft states that Copilot's Terms of Use (updated last October) state that Copilot is "for entertainment purposes only" and should not be relied upon to provide advice. It is used at your own risk.

 

These terms are meant to safeguard Meta and OpenAI from lawsuits

For your information, Copilot users agree to indemnify and hold Microsoft harmless from and against any claims, losses and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to the use of Copilot. These terms and conditions are seen as a safeguard against any lawsuits that OpenAI and Meta are currently facing after their AI was blamed when users committed suicide or were exposed to age-inappropriate content
