PlayStation now informs all ShopeePay users in Malaysia that they will need to complete e-KYC verification to continue using ShopeePay as a payment method on the PlayStation Store, effective January 22, 2026.
You must do it before 22 January 2026
For your information, users who have not completed e-KYC after that date will not be able to make payments using ShopeePay. This includes new purchases on the PlayStation Store as well as automatic subscription renewals. If e-KYC is not completed, users may not be able to renew automatic subscriptions.

As stated, e-KYC verification is only applicable to ShopeePay users who use this platform as a payment method. PlayStation Store also supports a variety of other payment methods, including Visa and Mastercard cards, Apple Pay, and PlayStation Store Gift Card voucher codes. For more information on available payment methods, visit the official PlayStation website.
