It seems that DBKL has recently released a statement on their Facebook page stating that motorists will not be able to pay for parking via the parking payment machines, starting from 1 October 2020. Instead, DBKL will only accept payments via apps such as EZ Smart Park, Flexiparking, Wilayah Parking, as well as M-Cash in order to pay for their parking.

In addition to that, they've also mentioned that e-wallets such as Boost and Touch ‘n Go eWallet is currently being integrated and will not be available at the moment. Unfortunately, there is no date on when both the e-wallets can be used to pay for parking, so you might need to stay tuned for that.

With all that said, what are your thoughts on DBKL switching over to cashless payments by doing away with parking payment machines? Let us know on our Facebook page and for more updates like this, stay tuned to TechNave.com.
