YouTube Courses ready to make it out of the U.S., starting with India as first

India will become the second country to get YouTube Courses. The feature launched in July allows channel owners to offer tutorials or classes as paid videos to the audience. Previously, it was only available in the States, but it seems that YouTube is ready to offer it somewhere else.

The feature arrives on YouTube India in the form of beta testing. In 2023, it'll only be available for general use for all content creators. In India, YouTube Courses targets teachers who want to teach online with videos for a fee. There's also an interactive quiz at the end of the study video to test the student's level of understanding.

The reason for YouTube choosing India as the next to deploy the feature is the country alone has 60 million videos teaching various digital skills, and every 1 out of 2 working citizens use YouTube to improve their personal skills. We hope the feature will also come to Malaysia soon as it might encourage content creators to offer more high-quality courses on the video-sharing platform.
