Have you ever felt that one YouTube video isn't enough? What if you could watch multiple streams simultaneously? YouTube TV already has this, but it was previously limited to specific sports channels in the US. Now, the company is looking to expand on the feature.
In an official Reddit post, YouTube said it's experimenting with using YouTube TV's multiview feature for "select channels beyond live sports". The company confirmed that the list includes popular channels in the US for different content like ESPN, Bravo, and USA. In addition, YouTube will gradually add more channels and allow more users to test the feature.

To access multiview, switch to the YouTube TV app. In the Home tab, the option for multiview would appear in two rows listed as "Top picks for you" and "Watch in multiview". You can choose a preset multiview combination or customise one yourself. But here's the kicker - YouTube TV is only available in the US, and there's no news of when it and its multiview feature will come to Malaysia.
Of course, you can also watch multiple videos or streams with the standard YouTube app. However, it requires using third-party apps or platforms with a multiview-like system. With that said, is multiview a feature you would use or have used? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
