Today, YouTube is introducing a Likeness Detection feature that will identify artificial intelligence (AI)-generated content featuring your face. So, what should you know about it?
It is similar to the Content ID system
For your information, it works similarly to the Content ID system but with a tab for detecting your face. You will also need to upload a photo of your ID and take a short video of your face from multiple angles. This data is then used to detect whether your face is used in the AI-generated video.
When detected, you will receive a notification just like if your video was uploaded to another channel via Content ID. This feature is still in Beta testing and is open to creators involved with the YouTube Partner Program.
